
Landscape Technician
Hands-on Field Technician for Landscape and Drainage
Full-time, Year-Round Position
Pay: Starts at $18/ hour, based on experience thereafter
Entry Level up to Experienced Landscape Tech position available

Job Duties:
- Assist in installation of new landscapes or renovations
- Operate hand and power tools for planting, pruning and general upkeep
- Support installation of hardscape features such as patios and walkways
- Support installation of drainage solutions
- Install trees, shrubs, mulch, pine needles, and rock as well as digging up old trees and shrubs
- Lay sod, seed, fertilizer and straw
- Prepare garden bed areas
- Dig trenches
- Operate equipment such as sit down or stand on skid steers or other heavy machinery
- Drive company trucks
- Manage inventory on truck to ensure have tools, equipment, and materials needed to complete tasks as well as maintain organization of items so jobs are run efficiently
- Coordinate and work well with team members
- Provide accurate records of service and repair visits for office admin
- Effectively manage time on job sites
- Maintain look of company vehicle
- Complete safety checks of company vehicle
- Adhere to safety standards and company best practices
- Support other services provided by company such as irrigation and outdoor lighting
Qualifications:
- Ability to work outdoors year-round
- Good physical condition / stamina and ability to lift 100 lbs
- Self-motivated individual with a great attitude who wants to learn
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to think through and problem solve
- Good English communication skills, Spanish a plus
- Valid Driver License with safe driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report
- Ability to pass a drug test as well as criminal background check
- Reliable transportation to office
